As with all MG vehicles the 5 EV comes with a comprehensive 7 year warranty. The new long range variants also include MG Pilot, MG's suite of advanced driving safety aids including Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control. With state-of-the-art technology the MG 5 includes rear parking sensors, cruise control and air conditioning as standard and in the higher- spec variant, satellite navigation, keyless entry and heated front seats provide even greater comfort and convenience. The high-specification MG5 is available in a choice of six colours and two specification levels – the SE and the Trophy. It can also help with other practical issues like powering other electric cars that have run out of charge. V2L is bidirectional power that allows you to use the battery in your electric car to charge or power an electrical appliance such as an electric scooter, a laptop or even a kettle if you’re away camping. The new MG5 has an added feature known as Vehicle Load Charging (V2L) which is brand new technology only available in a handful of electric cars.

For company car drivers it also offers substantial annual savings thanks to a 0% Benefit in Kind (BIK) taxation rating. Ideal for both families and business drivers, the zero emission MG 5 has low running costs (4p per mile) and is currently exempt from Vehicle Excise Duty (VED). With three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Sport – the MG 5 has three levels of regenerative braking to optimise battery charge usage. This spacious and practical fully electric vehicle can accommodate five passengers in supreme comfort with generous head and legroom in both the front and back of the cabin.
